About Thank you for the Little Things

We all have gloomy, sad days, but take a close look at the beauty that is all around, and you’ll soon be feeling better!

In this little story of mindfulness, discover the little things that make one child feel happy:

Thank you daisies, small and white, with yellow middles oh so bright – each flower like a little sun, with petal rays around each one.

“This reassuring, uplifting picture book celebrates the little things that bring us joy and happiness. We all have bad days and sad days, but sometimes its the smallest things that make us smile. ”

About Caryl Hart

Caryl started writing for children when she was 32 years old, after her first daughter was born and, after a lot of work, her first book was published 10 years later, in 2009.

She was inspired to write children’s books after reading lots of fantastic picture books in her local library.

Caryl has published over 55 children’s books including baby books, picture books, young fiction and non-fiction stories. Her goal is to write at least one hundred books in her lifetime!

She lives in Sheffield with her family, and love swalking and running in the hills of the Peak District in her spare time.
