The Problem with Pierre

Join talented illustrator and fab author for an adventure with Alan, Bertram and Pierre from the fabulous book The Problem with Pierre illustrated by Suzanna and written by C.K. Smouha. Suzanna will be reading from the book, chatting about being an illustrator, how to develop book characters and  answering any questions live.

The problem with Pierre is illustrated by Suzanna and written by C.K Smouha and is about Alan and Betram, next door neighbours and best friends, who are very different from one another.

Betram is extremly neat and Alan is widly messy! In comes Pierre a lovely cat who is supposed to live with Alan but much to Alan’s dismay, Pierre prefers to live at Betram’s. All sorts of wonderful adventures follow. Will they find a solution to their problem? Join us to find out.

Suggested age for the book 3-6years

Suzanna Hubbard is an illustrator and author

Suzanna’s first picture book, The Lady Who Lived In A Car and was based on a real person who was living in a local London borough at the time. This book was for an Early Years Book Trust Award.

Suzanna was selected to illustrate a beautiful anthology of Love poetry to coincide with the Radio 4 programme Love Please. 

Suazanna works with many clients including Penguin Random House, Michael O’ Mara Books, Kingfisher Books, Orion, Pavilion Books and Cicada Books.
