Rebecca Patterson

Tuesday 21st July, 11am

Join the 2012 winner of the Roald Dahl funny prize, author and illustrator Rebecca Patterson for a robot-themed Library Adventures Live! event.

Rebecca will be giving a fast-paced reading from A Robot Girl Ruined My Sleepover and entertaining us with her drawings. She’ll be inviting children to get creative, in a session that will entertain and educate in equal measure.

Praise for A Moon Girl Stole My Friend

“Rebecca Patterson uses a sci-fi setting to breathe new life into school drama in this funny and touching story.” (Scotsman)

“A sweet illustrated story of friendship and fallouts with a futuristic twist.” (Fiona Noble, The Bookseller)

Rebecca grew up in Bolton but now lives in Cambridge with her husband and teenagers. Rebecca works part time in a local primary school as a Teaching Assistant where she whispers stuff like ‘I never had to know about fronted adverbials’ to small children.
